Then, read the list below for an explaination and requirements your website needs to meet in order to be part of the feDistricts.

District information
Akihabara This District is intended for websites that are dedicated to the topic of video gaming, whether be it from the perspective of a player or a developer. This includes preservation of niche media, video game reviews, collection show-offs.
No special requirements for this district.

Amsterdam This District is intended for websites ran by visual artists dedicated to their own work. From photography, to painting, to digital art, pixel work, animation - anything goes.
Website must contain own art section. AI-generated imagery is not art and submitters will be blacklisted.

Brussels This District is intended for websites focused on politics and social activism.
Including but not limited to news websites and collectives doing social work.
Websites dedicated to bigoted and exclusionary ideologies such as eurosceptism, fascism, eugenics, nationalism and others are not allowed and submitters will be blacklisted.

Cannes This District is intended for websites focused on cinema and theatre.
Including but not limited to reviews, actors' portfolios, community work in this area.
No special requirements for this district.

Chicago This District is intended for music of all genres, both for lovers and creators.
Including but not limited to websites with news of music industry, musicians of all sorts, band/solo artists fansites.
No special requirements for this district.

Heaven&Hell If you know a Fediverse instance that allows or disallows mutual aid, be it via explicit staff statements, instance's rules or general moderation attitudes towards mutual aid posts, you can submit it just like any other district.
Note that membership in H&H doesn't affect your district count, so you can still join 2 regular districts.
Unlike on regular districts, anyone can submit H&H instances.

London This District is intended for writers and readers alike, both of prose, poetry and drama.
Including but not limited to writer portfolios, book fans, fansites about novels and fanfiction sites.
No special requirements for this district.

Massachusetts This District is intended for those who are working in tech or are fans of newest things in technology.
Including but not limited to news sites, coding wizards, software developers.
No special requirements for this district.

Middle Earth This District is intended for fans of traditional fantasy in books, TTRPG, movies and so on.
Including but not limited to gamemasters, TTRPG creators, fansites.
No special requirements for this district.

Naia Green This District is intended for members of furry and otherkin communities.
Including but not limited to furry convention sites, websites of furry creators.
No special requirements for this district.

Red Light This District is intended for websites with primarily adult content.
Including but not limited to doujinshi, written/visual erotica, topics of gore and other topics that are not for minors.
Site maintainer must be over 18 years old. Site content must be prefaced with content warnings when possible.

Seoul This District is intended for fans of Korean culture in any aspect.
Including but not limited to band fansites, K-Drama reviewers, Korean linguistics.
No special requirements for this district.

Shibuya This District is intended for fans of Japanese culture in any aspect.
Including but not limited to animanga fansites, Japanese videogames, idol culture or history.
No special requirements for this district.

The Sky This District is intended for those who do not really fit in any other district.
In the future, sites from The Sky may migrate somewhere else.
No special requirements for this district.

Stonewall This District is intended for queer people and their lives.
Including but not limited to queer creators of queer content, transition timelines, transgender healthcare sites.
Site maintainer must be queer. Websites promoting exclusionary beliefs in regards to queer community are not allowed and submitters will be blacklisted.

Tower of Babel This District is intended for multilingual websites, or websites primarily not in English.
Including but not limited to linguistics, language learners, non-English speaking communities.
Site must serve content in at least one language other than English.

Turtle Island This District is intended for BIPOC webmasters and promoting Black, Indigenous or otherwise non-white communities and cultures.
Including but not limited to archivization of BIPOC arts, sites by BIPOC creators of any medium.
Site maintainer must be BIPOC.

A site can join up to 2 districts at once.
Sites that hold some sort of adult content but already are eligible for 2 districts, will be prefaced with a content warning.
If you want to highlight that your website is adult-only, consider joining Red Light as one of the districts.
